🤓 The Role
The Team Leader FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral Management will be responsible for :
The processing of standard and derivative FX/treasury products, OTC collateral and regulatory reporting, as well as the cash management of secondary nostro accounts and cash remittances
Responsible for reconciliation of trade confirmations for FX/MM and its derivative products.
The management of the FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral team.
Ensuring that the services delivered to the Azqore clients are most efficiently and productively performed.
Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.
But here’s the exciting part:you’ll be helping launch this activity from scratch in Lisbon, working closely with our experienced team in Switzerland.
The role will be based in Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Dom João II 43, 1990-084 Lisboa, Portugal).
👨🔧 Your responsibilities
Daily BAU
Successful applicant will be responsible for the management of FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral .
Ensure operational efficiency and excellence and maintain low levels of operational risk.
Acts as the point of escalation for European clients on all FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral queries, concerns or issues.
Monitoring investigations related to the activity.
Other controls on rates and FX transactions.
Analyze internal requests received by the front office /the middle office and the requests received by the third parties linked to FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral.
Maintenance of macro.
Prepare detailed reports and documents (KPI, statistics etc..).
Support audits and compliance checks related to FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and secure the processes.
Others
Leads Azqore Operations projects and initiatives, where necessary.
Drive cross border collaboration and strengthen communication channels between the Swiss and Portugal teams.
Enhance client service standards within the team, and consequently the client ratings of the function. Propose/identify value-add solutions which can impact profitability.

The FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral Management Team Leader should demonstrate/develop the following capabilities:

Ensure that the controls performed by the team adhere to the procedure, with a focus on ISAE-audit related controls
Develop strong escalation and risk awareness skills in the team.
Technical Skills/ Product Knowledge
Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of standard and derivative FX/treasury products, OTC collateral/regulatory reporting and the S2i core banking system, as well as Azqore, including its vision, objectives and culture, and leverage this in interactions with the clients.
Change Mindset & Emphasis on Quality
Ability to demonstrate a change mindset and challenge status quo
Demonstrate and cultivate a process excellence mindset and awareness within the team
People Management
Cultivate habits around the Azqore management charter
Ability to engage, influence and lead the Portuguese Reconciliation & Investigation team to achieve Operations/company goals
Other
Fluency in English and French
At least a Bachelor degree (preferred Master degree), preferably in Accountancy, Banking & Finance
At least 5 years of relevant experience in FX/MM, Treasury & Collateral and at least 3 years of people management experience
Excellent communication skills; Ability to collaborate, especially cross border
