🤓 The team
You will be member of the Cash and Securities Investigation & Reconciliation team, responsible for the reconciliation of the cash movements and the securities positions, and the related investigations.
The team is in charge of the analysis of all the requests related to incoming and outgoing payments and their follow up until their resolution.
The team supports our client's banks and ensures an efficient and a high quality services.
But here’s the exciting part: you’ll be helping launch this activity from scratch in Lisbon, working closely with our experienced team in Switzerland.
The role will be based in Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Dom João II 43, 1990-084 Lisboa, Portugal).
👨🔧 Your responsibilities
- Analyze internal requests received by the front office /the middle office linked to the cash transfer activity (incoming and outgoing payments)
- Analyze the requests received by the third parties (through MTN95/96/99) and mainly related to cash transfer activity
- Take the necessary action to solve the problems /issue
- Formalize the action in our core banking system (opening, monitoring and closing of investigation files with a result obligation)
- Management of client request through the Helpdesk tickets (linked to the investigations file)

- Proactive drives and implements process enhancement (continuous improvement)
- Ensure training of new colleagues when required
🧙♂️ Your core competencies
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in banking operations (focus on cash transfers is a plus)
- Degree in Finance / Business holder
- Client Service oriented
- Leverage technical expertise to provide quality processing and solutions to our client
- Build and maintain a strong communication channel with clients and stakeholders
- Ensure that the controls are performed according to the procedure
- Ability to be part of the diagnostic process and implement solutions
- Strong end to end products knowledge for cash transfers (such as xml format use for cash transfers)
- Demonstrate an in depth front to back knowledge of the cash processing
- Ability to demonstrate a change mindset and challenge status quo
- Demonstrate a process excellence mindset and awareness of risk management
- Be part of the culture of process excellence and quality focus
- Pro-active and open to new initiatives

- Able to prioritize tasks and handle stressful situations (sometimes)
